My name is Michelle Lou. I’m an accountant. Bookkeeping is one of my passions and I can truly say that I love what I do for a living. I believe in a life of balance and always strive to maintain an attitude of adaptability and flexibility. I believe in being curious and always seeking to learn new things. It has been an exciting and educational journey to get to where I am in both my personal and professional life. Graduating from The University of Texas in Dallas with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and upon moving to Austin in 2011, I received two years of bookkeeping/accounting experience from a CPA firm prior to joining B2 Management & Consulting, LLC. I enjoy working with my clients to consistently produce accurate financial reports and pride myself in always completing my work in a timely manner. I also excel in customer service and will spend whatever time is necessary to meet my clients’ deadlines. I have a passion for delivering exceptional service to my clients. I truly believe that the clients are more than just clients … they are friends. When I’m not working with numbers, I enjoy exercising the creative side of my brain with cooking as well as hiking and exploring Austin.

Why do you believe an exceptional customer service experience is crucial?
I truly believe all relationships start with trust and providing excellent and exceptional customer service experience is a competitive advantage. It’s the very foundation in understanding that a business must deliver value in order to transform the good to the great! It’s not just about the clients always being right. Cultivate the long-term relationships by showing clients knowledge, patience, dependability and warmth. It’s about treating our clients like we’d treat our lovely friends and family! It’s key to keeping clients loyal and getting them to continuously interact with our brand. A perfect win-win situation! We are human and we all need love and attention… Building a great trustworthy relationship brings everyone connected and closer.

Everything negative – pressure, challenges – are all opportunities for me to rise.

Tell us a little bit about your family.
I have a cute kitty and his name is Rocky. He only has 3 teeth left in his mouth because he has stomatitis. After undergoing surgery, he has been recovering very well and now he is smiling happily again!

What charities or organizations do you love supporting, and why?
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: The kids are our future and Austin Pets Alive: The pets are adorable, and they make me smile and bring me an unlimited amount of joy and love : ).
